Agreement and authority

By creating an account or using Lyfologist, you agree to these terms and any additional terms presented for a workspace, program, purchase, or feature. If you use Lyfologist for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The platform and coaching relationships

Lyfologist provides software for coaches to operate practices and for students to discover, purchase, learn, communicate, and schedule. Unless a specific offer says otherwise, coaches are independent providers responsible for their services, qualifications, claims, content, availability, and agreements with students. Coach Central, Inc. does not direct or guarantee a coach's professional judgment or results.

Program-specific participation, cancellation, refund, privacy, and service terms may apply in addition to these platform terms. If they conflict, the more specific terms govern that program or transaction to the extent of the conflict.

Professional and emergency boundaries

Lyfologist is not an emergency service and does not itself provide therapy, diagnosis, healthcare, medical advice, crisis intervention, legal advice, or tax advice. Coaching is not a substitute for appropriately licensed care. Contact local emergency services or a qualified professional when those services are needed.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, use only accounts and content you are authorized to access, and promptly report suspected misuse. You may not use the service to break the law, harm or harass others, misrepresent qualifications or outcomes, infringe rights, distribute malware, probe security, evade access controls, scrape private data, or interfere with the service.

Content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Coach Central, Inc. a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service and the features you choose. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for content you submit or publish.

Public profiles, Store listings, courses, and other public material are shown only when the responsible user approves their publication. Private coaching content remains subject to the product's role and visibility controls and our Privacy notice.

Calendar connections and scheduling

You may authorize Lyfologist to check availability and manage generic coaching-session events in a selected Google, Microsoft, or Apple calendar. You are responsible for selecting the correct calendars and reviewing bookings. Provider delays, stale data, time-zone settings, or events created outside Lyfologist can affect availability. The service rechecks conflicts when possible but cannot guarantee that an external calendar is complete or continuously available.

Booking, approval, cancellation, rescheduling, credit, and cutoff rules shown before confirmation apply to that session. A coach may be required to handle late changes or external conflicts manually.

Fees, purchases, and refunds

Prices, taxes, billing intervals, platform fees, seller identity, and any applicable refund or cancellation terms are shown before purchase. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Except where law or the applicable offer requires otherwise, fees are governed by the terms presented at checkout or for the relevant subscription.

Third-party services

Features may depend on identity, calendar, payment, communications, video, hosting, or storage providers. Your use of a connected provider is also subject to that provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but we remain responsible for our own handling of information as described in the Privacy notice.

Availability, changes, and termination

We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict an account to protect users, comply with law, address nonpayment, or enforce these terms. Users may stop using the service and use available account or deletion controls. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, payment obligations, dispute terms, and lawful record retention, will survive.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Lyfologist is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free provider data, particular coaching outcomes, or that every feature will meet every user's needs. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. Questions can be sent to support@lyfologist.com.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated terms with a new date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
